November Product Updates: Driving Data Excellence with Matia
At Matia, speed is a currency we take very seriously.
After launching out of stealth at the end of October, November has been a landmark month for customer acquisition and product enhancements across Ingestion, Observability, and general Platform capabilities. Here’s a roundup of the latest launches and capability enhancements that are designed to take your data workflows to the next level.
New Connectors: Expanding Ingestion Capabilities
Many customers move to Matia because they want to move data to their warehouse or data lake quickly and error free. Here are some new ingestion capabilities and connectors that were launched this month:
Salesforce Formulas in SQL
With any Salesforce integration, data teams can now leverage Salesforce formulas through Matia parsed SQL directly in their data warehouse environments for real-time analysis and insights. Matia now creates a table called matia_formula_model
, replicating Salesforce-native formulas into executable SQL syntax.
Workday Reports
Streamline your HR and financial data processes with our new Workday Reports connector. Easily ingest critical data into Matia for seamless integration into your analytics pipeline, enabling better workforce and operational insights.
DynamoDB
Matia’s DynamoDB connector allows teams to ingest data from Amazon’s NoSQL database directly into Matia, enabling real-time analytics for high-performance, low-latency applications.
Facebook Pages
Easily integrate social media engagement data into your workflows with Matia’s new Facebook Pages connector. Track page performance, user interactions, and key metrics, empowering marketing and analytics teams to make informed decisions.
This connector is in addition to Facebook Ads, which is already leveraged extensively by a lot of Matia ecomm customers.
Attentive
Matia now connects to Attentive, bringing SMS marketing data into your ETL pipeline. With this integration, teams can analyze customer interactions and campaign performance to optimize engagement strategies.
At Matia, our team is committed to accelerating our customer’s data movement and can spin up new connectors in as little as 48 hours. Check out the full list of connectors here.
Data Observability: Custom Monitors and Historical Insights
Custom Data Quality Monitors
Matia’s new monitor creation experience makes it quicker and easier to build custom monitors. Users can now edit thresholds and toggle between ML auto-thresholds, discrete sensitivities, and manually defined custom settings, ensuring tailored quality checks for every dataset.
Historical Insights for Monitors
Gain deeper insights into data quality with historical query results for custom monitors. This feature provides a detailed view of past behaviors, helping teams identify trends and anomalies with ease.
Platform Enhancements: Unified Issue Management
Centralized Issues Management
Want to quickly remediate any issues with your data? Now, there’s a centralized place to do that. Whether an integration failed to run, anomalies were detected, or an asset connection was lost, the issues management view provides a unified interface that enables faster identification and resolution, ensuring your dataOps runs smoothly.
What’s Next?
Matia is moving fast to continue to meet customer demand for enhanced observability capabilities, connectors and data movement, as well as work on product integrations with strategic partners.
